Dec 2005
HATS member Madeleine
Lillywhite held a James Bond
'Casino Night' on Saturday 10th December.
Everyone was asked to choose a character and
dress for the part.
Total amount we
raised: £130
! ! !
We were greeted by
Pussy Galore's Martini cocktails, shaken but
not stirred, and then participated in some
roulette gambling round the casino table. The
person with the most chips at the end of the
evening won a bottle of champagne (Giselle).
We then danced until the early hours. A crazy
night, thanks to Maddie and Dave for
organising! More photos here
Celebration -
Oct 2005
HATS celebrated
the success of our debut show 'Holiday
Confusion by having our after-show
celebration at Maharani's Restaurant, Hargate
Way, Hampton Hargate, on Tuesday 25th
October. Maharani's were just one of our show
programme sponsors.
There
were 21 of us, including family, friends and
show helpers. We had a lovely meal and then
chatted the night away happily, recalling all
the positive things about our successful
weekend. See all the photos here.

Sept 2005
On
Saturday 10th Sept 2005 in Hampton Hargate,
HATS Vice-Chairman Dale Chapman held a
fundraising quiz night at his home to raise
money for our shows. The Society was joined
by members of the Hampton Ladies Netball
Team.
Total amount
we raised:
£111 ! ! !
Guests paid £5
per entry and 50p for clues. The winning team
was Manu's Angels, who recieved a bottle of
sparkling wine and a box of chocolates.
We
also had a mystery raffle and played Guess
What's In The Box. Disco dancing and pegging
then commenced and was in full-swing until
3am. Many thanks to Linda and Dale for their
hard work and for hosting the evening! More

July 2005
HATS
Ticket Secretary Julie Jordan held a
fundraising barbeque fun-party on Friday 29th
July. Members and invited guests paid £5 per
entry and 50p per party game. In typical HATS
fashion, the last guests left (slightly
tipsy) at 3am.
Total amount
we raised:
£120 ! ! !
Games we
played to raise money for our forthcoming
show included Dares and Headbands. The main
event of the evening was an Auction Of
Promises, during which promises were made to
bake a cake, offer a lift in a car, give a
haircut, and even perform hypnotherapy!!
Dancing
and food were enjoyed by all, and we were
even entertained by our resident dancer Lee
Jordan, who performed a routine he had
previously showcased at Peterborough Key
Theatre.
Ice
cold flavoured vodka shots were also flowing
at 50p per shot, and as you can tell from the
photos here a fair few
were sold.
Thanks
for a great night, Julie!!
Fundraising
- June 2005
A
karaoke fundraising party was held on Friday
17th June. Invited guests paid £5 entrance
fee, and donated 50p per song sung. A fun
time was had by all, and we were still
singing our little hearts out at 2am.
Total amount
we raised:
£100 ! ! !
Well
done, everybody. This
will go towards costumes, props and scenery
for our forthcoming October show.
Unfortunately, no photos of the occasion
exist - everyone was having too good a time
to remember to take any!
Award
for 'Microphone Hogger' goes to Mr. Dale
Chapman, a man with absolutely zero
embarassment. 'Best Singer' goes to Heidi,
her voice and pitch actually brought tears to
the eye. And of course, 'Best Duet' award
goes to Heidi and Mark, for their 'tuneful'
rendition of 'Summer Nights' - watch out
Olivia NJ and John T, you now have mega
competition.
'Retro
Award' went to Andy - his 'Our House' was a
hoot. To Lian - she gets the 'Most Emotional'
award for 'My Heart Will Go On'. And finally,
to the 'Best Overall Performance' - without a
doubt, goes to the entire group for Robbie
Williams 'Angels'. Superb. Congratulations to
you all.
