On Friday
4th October the cast of HATS and friends celebrated the
success of 'Playing Away' with a well-deserved meal at the
Brewery Tap pub in Peterborough.

Barbeque Fundraiser -
August 2007
We
were lucky with the weather during the evening of Friday
10th August when Costumes Manager Julie held a HATS
fundraising barbeque at her house. Almost 30 of us gathered
in the garden as the sun set on a lovely warm night and we
tucked into the grub on offer. With everyone fed and tipsy
we then launched into a quiz, won by Kev's team. The party
went on well into the early hours. Thanks to Julie and Al
for their hospitality and a great night.

Arabian Horseracing
Night - June 2007
A
great turn-out for the Hampton Amateur Theatre Society horse
racing fundraiser held by HATS Treasurer Calli on Friday 8th
June 2007.
The evening
was given an Arabian theme and HATS members enthusiastically
rose to the challenge, dressing appropriately. Guests were
presented with an envelope of £5000 in fake money to gamble
with on the races, which was beamed onto a wall so that
everyone could get a good view. Bottle of champers went to
Bones for winning the most money, with a second-place box of
chocolates awarded to Andrew. Click

Car Treasure Hunt
Fundraiser - May 2007
A
very rainy Sunday afternoon was the setting for the
latest HATS fundraiser. Starting off at Tesco car park in
Hampton, five car-loads of HATS members and friends set off
on a treasure hunt that lasted almost 2 hours around the
sheep-roaded Peterborough countryside.
Passing
through picturesque villages such as Stilton, Polebrook and
Cotterstock, and then via Fotheringhay, Elton and Morborne,
the trail led back to Yaxley's 'Three Horseshoes' pub on Main Street where Bones and his team were declared the
winners. A hearty meal and alcoholic beverages completed a
lovely afternoon. Thanks to Kev and family for organising!

Bowling Fundraiser -
March 2007
Twenty
HATS members and friends took to bowling on Friday 30th
March 2007 to raise money for the group. Starting the
evening in Lakeside Bowl, Peterborough, we had two teams
competing for a trophy... girls versus boys!
Halfway
through the evening we enjoyed a meal together, then the
girls went on the win the trophy. The boys won a wooden
spoon. Later on, we hit 'Flares' 70's disco and celebrated a

Karaoke Fundraiser -
February 2007
A
large crowd of fun-lovers gathered in Hampton Hargate for
another HATS karaoke fundraiser on Friday 23rd February
2007. The theme of the evening was HATS, everyone had to
come in a hat with prizes for those making special efforts.
Olivia
Jordan won a Special Merit and Maurice won Best Hat for his
Russian-style titfer. Kev though amazed all with his special
effort, a hat complete with the HATS cast on a stage! All
were awarded with certificates and a prize. We spent the
rest of the evening singing and dancing, and all had a great

Relaunch - January 2007
HATS
had an open evening and relaunch in Hampton, Peterborough on
Tuesday 9th January.
We provided
a free glass of wine and welcomed new members of the
community to join our comedy drama group.
The evening
was spent getting to know people and reading through comedy
sketches, and a good time was had by all. Click
