Christmas Bowling -
December 2008
Three
teams of Hatters gathered at Lakeside Bowl in Peterborough for a
Christmas night out for the group.
Along with 2
games of competitive bowling we enjoyed a meal and a few drinks
together. Although the girls' team are to be commended for
another stunning bowling performance, congrats must go to Mike
for the highest individual score. Click

Halloween Night -
October 2008
The
HATS gang came out in force for the witching hour on Halloween.
Dressed as vampires, witches, devils and corpse brides we
enjoyed creepy music and each others company until the small
hours.
We had a
competition and Kev won Best Costume, Bones won Scariest Costume
and Mike won Funniest Costume. Click

Horseracing Night - July 2008
Top hats,
Pimms and posh frocks were all the rage at the latest HATS
social, held by member Calli on Friday July 4th.

NODA Hunstanton Drama
Festival Weekend - June 2008

HATS
did 'Carry On Caravanning' during the weekend of 28th June
when the cast of Blue Suede Blues participated in the 2008
Noda Hunstanton Festival.
A gang of
14 of us, including other HATS members and partners,
descended on the Norfolk seaside town and partied in 3

Sue
Ryder Thorpe Hall Bed-Push - April 2008

A HATS team
was entered into the Sue
Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice Sponsored
Bed-Push to help raise funds for the hospice. Our team, 'The
HATS Who Cares Wins Team', pushed our 'patient' (HATS mascot
Terry) along a specially designed course between Long
Causeway and Cathedral Square in Peterborough, with a few
light hearted challenges along the way to test our nursing
skills! The event took place on Saturday April 5th.

organising.

Greyhound Racing Night -
March 2008
On
the evening of Friday 28th March 15 HATS members and their
partners enjoyed a night of gambling and fun at Peterborough
Greyhounds Stadium. We got to bet in more than 10 races and
also had a meal and a fair few drinks! Several of us won
more than once, although some were unlucky and didn't win at
all.
