The AWARD-WINNING Hampton Amateur Theatre Society (HATS) is a comedy drama group from the new township of Hampton in Peterborough, Cambs.


Who We Are

We were formed in May 2005 by local people who were eager to meet new friends and have some fun.

Our members are from all walks of life and are over the age of 16. 

We are NODA (National Operatic and Dramatic Association) registered and adhere to their guidelines. We are run democratically and have a committee made up of:

- Props & Costumes Manager T. Lomax
- Ticket Secretary J. Jordan
- Fundraising/Business Manager M. Arnold

What We Do

Our Mission Statement is as follows:
- to entertain, educate and inform, thereby enriching the cultural life of the new Hampton Township and the surrounding area
- to bring an enjoyable theatrical experience to our community
- to provide a social setting for fun and friendship
- to create opportunities to develop talents in the theatre arts

We aim to perform at least two stage shows per year. Our constitution can be found here
