A hardcore of HATS members gathered in Hampton on Sunday

Manager Kev's garage was close-by for when the group needed
shelter from the Summer showers that have been plaguing the
UK this year. Use our online payment facility here

After
a plea for help, the makers of the alcoholic drink Babycham
have come to the rescue for HATS. Our forthcoming
production, 'Playing Away' due to be performed in September,
requires the use of bottles of Babycham as props and the
brand is mentioned several times in the script. We'd like to
thank Constellation Europe Ltd for supplying HATS with bar
props and Babycham for our show.

Don't
Rain On Our Parade June
2007
HATS
took part in the Peterborough
Festival on Saturday 30th June. We joined in the Mayor's
Procession, which left Bridge Street at 11am heading to Central Park, where
we had a stand selling tickets for our September show
'Playing Away'. We handed out flyers for the show along the
way and waved at the crowds.
The theme of this year's
festival was 'Myths & Legends', and in keeping with our
interest in entertainment we dressed as legends of
stage and screen: Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz, Xena
Princess Warrior, Laurel and Hardy, Sandy from Grease,
Julius Caesar, Liza Minelli from Cabaret and Cruella De
Ville plus dalmation!

The

Jordan as our new director. At aged only 17, we think Lee
must be the country's youngest theatrical director.
Talented Lee, from
Peterborough, has been on stage since the age of nine,
performing at Drury Lane, Sadlers Wells, and the Royal
Albert Hall. He also runs his own local dance class 'Dance
Control' and

HATS
Work With TV Star Mar
2007
Several
HATS members were asked to work behind the scenes on the 'Dickinson's
Real Deal' TV programme when filming came to Peterborough on
Saturday 10th March.
Working as
paid production runners and extras, it was a brilliant opportunity
to get a valuable insight to behind the scenes in TV and a
pleasure to meet the bobby-dazzler himself, Mr 'Cheap As
Chips' David
Dickinson. The show will be broadcast on ITV
in summer 2007. See HATS members in photos here.

Several

be an exciting collaboration of local talent on Saturday
14th April at 7pm.
The HATS ladies are part
of a troupe called 'Dance
Control' which is run by fellow
HATS member Lee Jordan. In between acting with HATS, Lee
attends the prestigious Bodyworks
Dance Studio in Cambridge; one of the UK's top
performing arts colleges.

Jan 2007
HATS have
had a marvelous reaction to our relaunch in Hampton this
week. We received some excellent publicity in the local
press which has resulted in even more interest from
potential new members. We also received a phone call from
the Key
Theatre in Peterborough who praised us on
keeping amdram alive in the local community and wished us
well.
HATS Relaunch in Hampton
Jan 2007
HATS
held an open evening
on Tuesday
9th January 2007 in the Hampton Community
Room, Hargate Way, at
8.30pm. New members were offered a a free glass of wine
and were shown our press cuttings, show posters and show
programmes.
We then introduced
ourselves and got to know each other, before reading through
some comedy sketches. New members were made to feel welcome
and HATS were pleased with the large turn out. We now hope
to commence plans for a new comedy show next week. Click
